While Sydney News Director and breakfast presenter at SCA, Deborah was named one of the top 40 metropolitan radio newsreaders of all time.
A typical day would see her setting the agenda for the news team and driving digital innovation. Deborah reported from the scene of major news events such as bushfire and flood emergencies, where she connected with everyday heroes. She also covered politics, state funerals, crime and court cases, and celebrity appearances – interviewing Prime Ministers, medical professionals, indigenous leaders, and CEO’s along the way.
